In the atmospheric setting of Los Angeles’s lofty Fig & Oak studio, the design community gathered for an evening of conversation and creative canapés. Bringing together voices from London, LA and San Francisco, Rapport founder Amira Hashish lead a discussion with Sarah Weichel of Swike Design, Samantha Romero of Fig & Oak and Cindy Ngo of Ink + Porcelain.

Cacio y Bebe’s Kara Vorabutr curated an exceptional spread that championed the artistry of the design world whilst Wander + Ivy and Moss were on drinks duty.

Meet the panelists.

 

Sarah Weichel is the founder of Silverlake-based interior design studio Swike Design. The studio encompasses the worlds of interiors, bespoke furniture and curation. Sarah’s social media platforms have become an authority on all things interior design.

Samantha Romero of Fig & Oak specialises in curating timeless vintage furniture and ethereal hand-selected objects. Her discerning eye for design has made her a sought-after curator in the industry.

Cindy Ngo of Ink + Porcelain brings together one-of-a-kind home decor through a carefully curated selection of artful objects designed by women. Her platform celebrates creativity and empowers female artists and designers.

Amira Hashish is not only an esteemed editor and writer for global titles but also the founder of Rapport and our vintage interiors platform Patina.
